Firefighters union to host BBQ

Jonathan Smith, a candidate for Rothesay council, and Gary Clark, who is running for re-election in Quispamsis, will be at a benefit barbecue hosted by the KV Firefighters Union on Saturday. People are invited to stop in at the union's office on Hampton Road between 11:30 a.m.

and 1:30 p.m. The only price for the food is a cash donation for the KV Food Basket.

There will also be a challenge among union members to see who can raise the most money for their fire boot.
